I'm not a medical cannabis patient, can I still come to the Glowing Goddess Getaway?
Yes, all goddesses are welcome at the Getaway. And with the passage of the Adult Use of Marijuana Act in California that went into effect January 1, 2017, we can allow all goddesses (21+) to use cannabis at our retreat.
How old do you have to be to attend the Getaway in California?
The Adult Use of Marijuana Act in California went into effect on January 1, 2017, which allows all goddesses age 21+ to use cannabis at our retreat. We will also allow goddesses age 18-20 to use cannabis at our retreat with a medical cannabis card.
How do I get involved in the Glowing Goddess Getaway?
The best way to get involved in the Glowing Goddess Getaway is to attend one of our retreats. From there, you can see exactly how your specific talents and skills can contribute to the Glowing Goddess CannaSisterHood. Also, connect with us on social media to get to know our community. We hope you can join us at a retreat soon to get started!
How do my friends and I register together?
You can purchase multiple tickets with one credit card and that will automatically register you together. If that isn’t possible, simply purchase your tickets separately and email us (info@glowinggoddessgetaway.com) the names of the members of your group and we’ll make sure you’re registered together.
Where is the Glowing Goddess Getaway?
There are regular Bi-Annual Retreats in both NorCal and SoCal in the Spring and Fall of every year. Additionally, we will be bringing more events on tour to a state near you starting in 2018.
I can’t make it to this retreat, will there be another Glowing Goddess Getaway?
Yes! We’re excited to say that we will be holding Glowing Goddess Getaways in multiple locations throughout California every year. Additionally, we hope to take the Getaway to other states in 2018 as well. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to hear about the next events!
What are the accommodations like for a camping ticket?
Full access to all classes, workshops, exhibits, and activities on both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight camping accommodations in group tents with 200 of your new best friends! You are welcome to BYO Tent if you don't want to stay in the group tents provided. Don’t forget your sleeping bag! All meals (dinner & breakfast), snacks, and desserts included.
What do I need to bring with me if I’m staying overnight at the Glowing Goddess Getaway?
You'll receive an informative email one week prior to the retreat with full details on what to bring and our final schedule for the weekend. Here's a quick overview.
MUST HAVE:
Overnight bag, water bottle, bedroll, camera
OPTIONAL:
Sunscreen, swimsuit, sleeping pad, mosquito spray, sunglasses, sun hat, rolling papers, yoga mat, snacks, flip flops
What are some examples of past classes, workshops, or activities provided at the Glowing Goddess Getaway?
Yoga, women in cannabis panel, massage, painting, cannabis and spirituality, hiking, horseback riding, sound baths, astrology, puff puff crafts, belly dancing, herbology, tarot, drum circles, female sexuality, edibles making, self-improvement, connecting to your inner goddess, henna, karaoke, swimming, flower crowns, and more!
What’s the food going to be like?
We will be serving a diverse menu including vegan and gluten-free offerings. We will have plenty of fruits, veggies, and other stoner snacks available between meals. We will also be serving some some pretty decadent desserts (chocolate fountains or infused cotton candy, and more!) so our goddesses can indulge.
You say "all-inclusive retreat" - what does it include?
Access to all of the Glowing Goddess classes, workshops, activities, and general sessions. It includes your overnight camping accommodations and all cannabis, meals, and snacks.
What about trans women? Are we welcome at the retreat?
Yes! The Glowing Goddess Getaway is PROUD to be a LGBTQ+ friendly space. One of our core values is inclusiveness and that means trans women, too!! In fact, we've welcomed many LGBTQ+ women at each one of our Getaways to date. Join us! We'd love to have you!
I can't afford a ticket, can I still come?
You can apply to be part of our volunteer staff but do so right away as there are limited staff positions available.
